Piezo Pickup

I cannibalized a buzzer for the piezo element and created a contact mic / acoustic pickup. About $3 in parts instead of $30. Not bad - and sounds fine.

I am very keen on this. I have been wanting to build my own wax cylinder recording device but one that doesn't use electricity for amplification. Maybe buying/building a Presto machine will have more sonically pleasing results.
